It was easy to see against Albany, Wednesday, that the addition of Alex Len to the lineup made us a completely different baskteball team. Greater depth allowed us to pick up the tempo, rebound more effectively, defend the paint better, and expand our offensive options. And having Pe-Shon Howard back at the point improved our offensive efficiency.

Having our starting point guard and starting center in the lineup prompted me to wonder where we would be had Pe' and Len been available for the entire season. We're 8-3 going into tomorrow's game against Samford, with a 20-point loss to Alabama, a 26-point loss to Iona, and a nine-point loss to Illinois.
