MD looking at 2013 PG Roddy Peters

Delonte Hill is getting on local 2013 PG Roddy Peters according to InsideMDsports. It appears his only offers and interest so far are from the mid-majors, but he claims that MD is definitely his favorite and if they were to offer he would commit.

Rivals - 3 star rating, 138 nationally

ESPN - no profile exists

247sports - not rated

Averaged 16pts, 10 rebounds for Suitland last year. 6'4", 190lb PG. I'm bored at work so I did some searching around the internet and found a Capital Hoops top 100 highlight video with Roddy in it around the 4:00 minute mark. They list him as a SG, and it appears he is more of a combo guard with his size, but it looks like he can shoot and pass in the lane. (Note: this must be a dc area top 100 camp, never heard of it but was some of the only stuff I could find on him at work...too many things are blocked.)

Here is an interview with him from the Hoop Group Southern Jam Fest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8uRZcKF7l4

He says he likes to run the floor and wants to model his game after John Wall (go figure). The interview somewhat contradicts the article, but it is an older interview from last year I believe. He said something about liking hte big east towards the end of the interview, but in the article he says he likes Turgeon and it would be hard to turn down a MD offer because he has always wanted to go there.

FWIW, he plays on a smaller AAU program so he doesn't have a ton of attention.
