Prisbell catches lots of hate, but this was near-perfectly done. It should be at the top of your leading list. A few quick reactions: - A player lied to Edsall about missing an academic assignment. Multiple players failed drug tests, for which they were disciplined. (Sheds some light on some suspensions, no?) Multiple players cursed him out to his face. One upperclassmen's parent backed Edsall by saying many players had inflated egos. So maybe things were in pretty bad shape. - Edsall's defense of an accusation about playing a player without dreads above a player with dreads wasn't really convincing, even I think he's telling the truth. He really needs to stop focusing on dreads, tattoos, and the like. Every time he defends a viewpoint, it makes it sound like he's endorsing it. - A lot of parents have issues with his communication and consider him heavy-handed. That's a real problem that need to be addressed if he's gonna stay around. He can keep talking down to his players and expect them to be happy. - Randy Edsall likes referring to Randy Edsall as "Randy Edsall." I come away from this in more uncertainty than I entered it. I'm guessing most people will.
