ESPN Bracketology expert, Joe Lunardi, has placed Maryland in his next four out of the 2012 NCAA tournament, in his initial bracket. Terps are there, along with UVA, as the 8th team out of the tournament, but I find it extremely encouraging that an ESPN expert has enough confidence in a team that will be playing a good portion of it's schedule with 7 scholarship players to place them in the category of a bubble team (whereas many of us are worried about potentially making the NIT).
