Duke/UNC Alumni Game

With the NBA lockout still in full effect, players from Duke and UNC will be playing in an alumni game for bragging rights on Nov. 17 at NC Central University.

Players from Duke that will play (among others): Kyrie Irving, Corey Maggette, Chris Duhon, Elton Brand.

Players from UNC that will play (among others): Jerry Stackhouse, Rasheed Wallace, Antawn Jamison, Vince Carter, and Raymond Felton.

My question to you all is, what would a Maryland alumni team look like right now, and how would they fare against either Duke or UNC (or the rest of the ACC)?

My lineup:

Starters: Steve Blake, Greivis Vasquez, James Gist, Chris Wilcox, Jordan Williams.

Bench: Eric Hayes, Joe Smith, DJ Strawberry.

A lot of you might question Gist at the three, but his range has improved a lot since leaving MD, and in a game against a number of NBA players, his athleticism and length would be a very good asset at the three-spot.

I think we probably would lose handily to UNC, but Duke, on the other hand, doesn't have a ton of talent that jumps out at you, and I think a Blake and Vasquez led team could win.
