As everyone knows, harsh criticism has been raining down on Edsall, and understandably so. This team was a bowl-eligible caliber team, and I think that isn't up for much of a debate. Year 1 of Edsall's tenure has been a disaster, and the future doesn't look much brighter.
Having said that, how accountable can Kevin Anderson be held for this disaster? And with this, how would everyone evaluate KA's performance thus far? I think most can agree that Mark Turgeon was a good hire and has been a mild success thus far. However, the Sean Miller situation remains a mystery, with most saying KA is the reason to blame he is not our basketball coach today.
So in hindsight, was it Wallace Loh that really made the poor hire in bringing in Kevin Anderson? For as much criticism as Edsall is facing, he wouldn't even be here if Anderson hadn't brought him in. I'm not one to jump the gun on calling for people to be fired, but KA should be facing just as much criticism as Edsall is.
Does anybody else think Kevin Anderson is being let off the hook a bit?
