This is all based off of the Testudo Times Recruiting Competition

I thought it was time for a fanpost dedicated to an update on the TTRC.

After a lot of hot starts, everyone’s numbers are starting to cool off after nobody had the last two commits (Henderson and McGary) correct. Out of the original ten recruits, there are three still to decide: Amile Jefferson, Torian Graham, and Robert Carter.

Current scores before the jump, and then analysis after it.

Here’s how the numbers look right now:

There are two leaders with 4 out of 7 correct so far: some guy named Ben Broman (anybody ever heard of him?) and Glory801. In order for Broman to gain on Glory, he needs Carter to commit to Florida State, while for Glory to gain the edge, he would need Carter to commit to Kentucky.

However, there are six contenders with 3/7.

Here is what each of these six contenders need in order to catch Broman and Glory.

Johnnyrobs13 would need Carter to commit to Georgia in order to catch Broman and Glory (all three of them have AJ to Nova and Graham to Kentucky).

Terps97 has three ways to catch Broman/Glory: AJ to Maryland, Graham to Maryland, or Carter to Georgia.

Snappin Terp has two ways to catch Broman/Glory: Graham to Louisville or Carter to Florida (he has AJ to Nova, like Broman and Glory).

Ben Goldstein will catch Broman and Glory if Graham commits to Maryland. If Carter commits to Florida State, he would not gain on Broman (who also has Carter to FSU), but would gain one on Glory. They all have AJ to Nova.

Terpfarms97 is in the exact same situation as johnnyrobs13, he needs a Carter commit to Georgia to tie.

Rquidas has two options for catching Broman/Glory: Graham to Maryland or Carter to Georgia (all three have AJ to Nova).

It is possible for some of the contenders with 2 out of 7 correct picks right now to catch the leaders, but I wasn’t willing to do that much work to figure it all out. Maybe i didn't do a good enough job of minimizing expectations for myself :)
