I graduated from College Park in 1994 and endured some hideous football teams during my time there. However, there was always some glimmer of hope that we could win a game, that we could have a .500 season, that we would win the Independence Bowl in Louisiana that one year (we tied, shoot me).

As an adult living in CT, I still follow Maryland (hoops in particular) and dress my kids up in MD gear to watch even crappy games. But I can honestly say that I see little or no hope with this years team. In fact, and i think this is worse, I don't really care about the game on Saturday. I think it's the first time I have been completely ambivalent, which kind of makes me sad.

Anyway, saw that we were in the Bottom 10 this week on ESPN. Arizona, which just fired their coach, is #11. Just Sayin'.
