Stefon Diggs, a 5-star wide receiver prospect from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, trimmed his list of colleges to eight, and Maryland made the cut, according to 247 Sports.

Diggs is one of at least two highly touted prospects from the Olney, MD school, including 4-star running back prospect, Wes Brown. Guard Mike Madaras committed to Maryland earlier this year.
Obviously, this is good news for the Terps and embattled head coach Randy Edsall, especially considering UMD is still in the hunt for at least four other 5-star players, including defensive end prospect Noah Spence, who is rumored to be a Terp lean, but isn't expected to commit until early January.
