Sure, he's a two-star whose only other offers were Tulane and Syracuse, so he's not exactly changing the "Edsall is a poor recruiter" narrative. But he's from Gilman. Maryland hasn't landed someone from Gilman in .... ever? Given that they've surpassed DeMatha as the state's #2 program behind Good Counsel, getting that pipeline up and running is seriously important. This is more important than it may seem.
