I know everyone is aware of Nate Britt deciding tomorrow on November 29th where he will be verbally agreeing to play college basketball. Sorry for the not so certain or firm commitment, but after Maryland's issues with verbals leaving for elsewhere I will wait until he signs on the dotted line. This is the most important decision tomorrow since this is an immediate impact. Considering the lack of PG capable players on the roster this would be HUGE!!!
Stefon Diggs will also be narrowing down his list to seven tomorrow. If you ask why tomorrow is the day for him to narrow his list, its Mr. Diggs birthday tomorrow. So for all of you football haters out there, why don't you put your effort into something beneficial and tweet/facebook Stefon a happy birthday. It looks promising that Maryland makes the cut. Stefon was expected to make an official to Auburn this past weekend, but he cancelled and reports are that Stefon doesn't feel that Auburn was a good fit for him.
Since I'm posting about recruiting, Cyrus Jones from Gilman just narrowed his list down to three and unfortunately Maryland did not make the list according to ESPN. Alabama, Auburn and Virginia Tech are the three fighting for his services. I guess Cyrus wants to play for a team that wins more then twice a year...okay sorry I couldnt resist.
Wes Brown was reportedly to be a Maryland lean and when listing his official visits Maryland was absent, but the Colorado visit has not been confirmed and considering he has been to College Park a couple of times I dont see this being such a big deal. Especially since he still has an official open if he decides Colorado is not for him. ESPN reported that despite Maryland going 2-10 this year, the Terps are very much in the running for several big name recruits especially in state.
So even with all the negativity floating around College Park after the 2-10. Oh yeah, Maryland will be on ESPN or ESPN 2 tomorrow for the ACC/Big 10-11-12 Challenge at 7:30pm vs. Illinois. GO TERPS AND FEAR THE TURGE!!!
