I was reading the article in the Sun/Boston Herald on Coach Turgeon, and figured I'd search out the mentioned youtube clip of his days playing at Topeka HS. Even though small in stature in HS (as he would be at KU), coach was getting it done. The best part to know about the end of the clip is with the supposed game winning shot. Read the youtube comment when this was posted 3 mos ago...
These clip shows a good first hand view of Coach Turgeon's competitive nature, not that we've doubted it since he's been here. We watch so many vids of recruits, we might as well check out the small, crafty PG who got it done!
Enjoy the clip - I sure did.

BTW - One of best quotes of the article: Turge's friend Tad Boyle, on coach getting down a bit while at Oregon: "I’ve seen him down," says Boyle, who assisted Turgeon at Jacksonville. "But Mark’s not going to be down for long. It gets back to that sense of competition. It’s, ’I might have lost this battle but I’m going to win the war. I might have lost this recruit, but I’ll find one better.’ He’s not going to feel sorry for himself, and he’s always going to come back for more."
