Does the upcoming basketball seaon figure to be especially challenging for Turge?

These are not players who are accustomed to losing. Turge will have to keep them from getting down, and keep them focused on getting better as players and as a team. Setting individual goals might be more important than setting team goals (at least in terms of wins and losses). And measuring success in terms of improvement (fewer turnovers, more assists, better defense, better shooting/free throw percentage) a better approach than worrying about their record. 

IMO, he'll need to keep it light, and keep it fun...which is difficult when you lose. He'll need to remind them this is a multi-year process, and this is just the first year of that process. Most of all, he'll need to remain patient and positive. If he doesn't, the players won't.

Is it in him to do that? Remember, this is a coach who has made the NCAAs for each of the last four years. Time will tell.
