It seems most everyone was impressed with Pankey during the Maryland Madness festivities, and Turge is certainly high on him. With that in mind - and assuming Len is eligible to play - does that change the urgency for a power forward in the 2012 class?
In 2012, we'll have Cleare and Len capable of playing the 5. Len, Pankey and Padgett (Layman if we're REALLY pressed) at the 4. Layman, Parker and Faust would play at the small forward, with Stogs, Faust, Allen, Layman, Parker and Howard rotating between the two guard slots.
Would another C/PF be ideal? Yes. But for that matter - considering Parker is still a question mark - a small forward and a guard would be beneficial as well.
In my mind, that team would be capable of an NCAA berth (keeping in mind three would be freshmen in 2012), and doing some damage in the ACC.
Again, the critical piece is Len's eligibility.
