Yes, I'm taking a page out of Charlotte's page on speaking about bball recruiting. There is a great article from the Baltimore Sun and I'm sure Ben B. will highlight even further later today, but here is the post from the Baltimore Sun.
Just to give you a crash course on the article. Everyone knows that Robert Carter took his official visit to Georgia this past weekend and UGA seems to be the leader for his services next year. That comes at no suprise, but the piece in the article that did shock me was that it listed the rest of his visits and at the end it had that either Kentucky or Maryland would get his last official. I thought MD was certainly getting an official from him, when did UK get on him??? I hate Calipari..dirty ass motha f%$ka.
Charles Mitchell took an official to Seton Hall this past weekend, which seems to be the leader on his board and if MD is wanting to Mitchell for next year Seton Hall is the one to beat. I know he seems to be a 1a/b option right now, but if he wants to commit I say we may want to take him.
The visit that looks to be the most damning to the Terps is Amile Jefferson visited UCONN this weekend. Jefferson seems to have less and less interest in the Terps or at least this is what certain blogs and ESPN's Dave Telep would make you believe. With a UCONN visit under his belt, I would find it hard for the Terps to compete with someone of Calhouns stature. He would be willing to sell what morals he would have left if any to land Jefferson. This looks bleaker with every passing week that Jefferson will be a Terp.
The most interest post in this article is about Junior Center Dominic Woodson from the Vermont Academy. This is the first I have heard about him, but if you look at his profile he is a high 4-star recruit with interest from every including your mother. Dominic is from Texas and has interest from Texas A&M which I would have to imagine was from the Turgeon era, so this would be a great get and maybe eliminate a lot of the pressure from having to land a major PF/C for the 2012 class.
I thought everyone would like to read this post since it has to deal with bball and I beat the usual bball recruiting experts on posting this.
