Anderson said that the reason Franklin left for the Vanderbilt job was that he couldn't guarantee Franklin the head coaching job once Friedgen's contract was up. So my question is, if you're going to hire a guy like Edsall, why didn't he just guarantee the job to Franklin in a year?!
That way, we wouldn't have disrespected the ACC coach of the year, as Friedgen could have finished his last year of his contract, we would of kept continuity with our coaching staff in the future, which benfits current players as well as future recruits, and we'd be getting a much better head coach than Edsall, in my opinion, in Franklin! A better coach, a better recruiter, and a guy the players already know and love.
Am I the only one that thought of this?
