I’ve read they’re recruiting 100+ “student marshals” to make sure there will be no fun at said bonfire.

Still, I’m glad the police are doing something proactive for a change other than preparing riot gear and horses.

It makes MD look like some bum mid-major. We’re supposed to be this “elite” ACC basketball school then we shouldn’t need some stupid hype up event to play duke. Everyone understands it’s an important game, don’t make us look silly like this..,

look at any other major sports rivalry. Ohio state fans get pumped up weeks before the michigan game every year, and who is clearly on top of that rivalry right now? do you respect ohio state any less because they have pep rallies before their rivalry games? NO. i could. not. care. less. what duke fans say about us getting hyped up for this game. I LOVE that maryland fans get hyped up and come out in strong for these games. if they want to be jealous and say that they are above us with their 4k cameron indoor let them because in my honest opinion, maryland fans are better. if youre so upset that we get pumped up for games against duke then you can go root for the blue devils, im going to be a terp and join in all the festivites.
