Maryland hires new AD, Kevin Anderson from Army. This makes no sense because Maryland should have tried to hire a bigger profiled person to fit our athletic personal. Here is the link....
I do not understand why we didn't push for Connecticut's AD or someone else who has more experience and recognizable name. In order to make the jump to an elite sports school we need a elite AD, and only time will tell with Anderson, but as of now it is looking bleak.

How successful Army has been at football
means absolutely nothing as to how good Anderson will be here. Its an uninspiring hire but we have no idea how he will do here. He did play a big role in hiring Mike Riley at Oregon State so that bodes well for this offseason assuming Anderson is in favor of cleaning house.
Just got to let it play out and see what he can do.

Well this one came outta left field. I guess we can expect the Navy rivalry to flourish now. I don’t know a thing about Anderson, will reserve judgement until I hear some info. First thought is not too positive though.
