Officially One Week Until Maryland-Navy

Everyone, take notice: there are exactly 168 hours (or 10,008 minutes; that is, one week) until Maryland's season kicks off against Navy in Baltimore. Terrapin semi-great Lance Ball would like to remind you what happened the last time the two faced off:

That play, 4th-and-7, down by four, one minute left, is seared into my memory; for all that Lance Ball did, his defining moment came in the first game of his sophomore year.

Okay, so the game didn't have any greater meaning. Maryland didn't even make it to a bowl that year. But damn it was fun to win a football game for the hell of it.

One more week.

I was at that game in M&T

Navy probably should’ve won that game, had their way with us all day with that option crap. But it was a pretty sweet day nonetheless. Ray Lewis was on the sideline cheering on his bro, good atmosphere. I can’t wait for the season to begin, august is so boring
