Yeah, you read that correctly. Darrius Heyward-Bey will be the 28th highest paid athlete in 2010. He'll pull in $21,430,00 from his salary and $75,000 from endorsements. Not a bad day at the office. Hopefully he'll show some love to the Terps football program. I really, really hope that the football staff is using this as a tool in recruiting. Terps players have had great success at the combine and it's paid off pretty well for DHB and Vernon Davis. Bruce Campbell, not so much, although if he plays well he'll get paid down the line...
