Exciting news at the mothership today, folks: SB Nation, our kindly overlords, have launched a series of regional sites, sort of like what ESPN has done with Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles (only way better, of course). Among them, of course, is SBNation DC.

If you're a fan of the Redskins, Caps, Wiz, or Nats along with Maryland, you owe it to yourself to check it out. It's similar to SBNation.com, but simply regionalized to focus on DC sports. It's presence will fall into the rest of the network a little; for instance, that little poll up at the top left of the page, or branding on the team or player pages.

It's possible that one of the trio of intrepid bloggers here will be contributing, too, so maybe look out for that in the future.
