So let me get this straight...
Tomorrow night's game vs. Duke will have recruits Quinn Cook, Hopkins, Josh Selby, Haukur Palsson, and possibly CJ Leslie. Pe'Shon Howard will be in attendance. The game will be live on ESPN at 9 o'clock in a classic game vs. Duke for a share of the ACC regular season title for the entire nation to see. Terps are ranked and are on a roll. It's senior night. There is going to be a "gold out". Gary Williams is in the running for ACC coach of the year. The message boards have been unusually optimistic. Terrell Stoglin finally won his state championship. Scott Van Pelt has been giving us insane love. Andy Katz has been blowing us up. The Dukie Jay Bilas has been giving us love. Greivis Vasquez is in the running for not only ACC POY but also the Naismith. Bruce Campbell is tearing it up at the combine.
Did I miss anything else!?
Damn it feels good to be a Terp!!!

6-9 F Moses Abraham will be attending game tomorrow (From Zagoria)
This is “the game” of the season. I’m glad Greivis doesn’t feel the pressure, because I sure as hell do. I’m pumped. The Comcast Center is going to be louder than it ever has been before. I hope the outcome lives up to the hype. Go Terps!
Loudest
Loudest in the Comcastle’s history, without a doubt. #22 vs. #4. Even though i wasnt here for the Cole Field House Days, this game has a feeling of one of those days. Place is gonna be ROCKING!!!
getting chills
Any of you students? I am group 1 and all my friends are 2/3. So I am standing in line around 6:30 tomorrow!
Better get there earlier than that!
If you’re trying to get front 2 or 3 rows on the sides, you gotta be there by like 2 in the afternoon.
Really the only recruit we have a chance with is Haukur and maybe Leslie
but it’s always nice to have the kids there—-as who knows—-sometimes an epic win can plant a seed in a kid selby’s mind
If Haukur commits and we win—-that’s our best case scenario
If Haukur commits???
Way to shoot for the stars as our “best case scenario”….haha where’s the optimism man??
None of the other guys are legitimate recruiting targets right now
ask anyone—-Cook is not coming to MD, niether is Hopkins
and Selby is NOT Gary’s type of player—-would be SHOCKED if he ended up at MD
now of course all that can change and I’m glad they are there—-but we have 4 guys already—-adding paulson would really be great—-other than that i think we are starting to look for 2011

Hopkins
Isn’t this Hopkins second visit in a row? That’s never a bad thing.
sure---my take though
is that outside of Paulsson that everyone is here just to take in a great game/scene
and MD is still plugging away—keeping in contact with these kids/extending them a favor as they have friends, coaches etc. who will see it as a nice gesture
Probably not wrong, but that is a rather pessimistic way of looking at things
Cook and Hopkins are longshots, but they’re also top 25 players, and all top 25 players are longshots for Maryland. That doesn’t mean we should write all of them off, though. Their recruitments could conceivably go on for another year and a few months, and plenty of things can change. The fact that they’re here and that it’s this game is important in and of itself, IMO.
And you’re right about it being at the very least a good gesture that will be seen nicely around the area.
...It's dark out and we're wearing sunglasses???
That’s all I can think of that you left out…
Go Maryland…I may get a Tat of GV if we win…
