A New Beginning

Although we are losing three very important seniors, I'm also looking at this as a postive.

When Korie Lucious made the shot that ended the careers of Eric Hayes, Landon Milbourne, and Greivis Vazquez, I didn't know what to do, I was in shock. At first, I was depressed knowing that we were losing all three of our seniors on a shot by someone you wouldn't expect it from. So I sulked all day yesterday and stayed up till around midnight thinking about the game letting thoughts drift in and out of my head. Today I sulked until I realized something that this team could actually benefit from " Lucky Lucious". Experience. Next year we will have five maybe six new freshman coming in. If we are losing three starters that opensplaying time not only for the current players but for the freshman as well. Mychal Parker, Terrell Stoglin, Pe'shon Howard, Ashton Pankey, and Hauker Palsson will all gain something next year that could lead this team to be very good for many years to come.

Although next year may be a year in which we get into the tournament and lose again in an early round, the freshman will all have gotten use to ACC play and one or two or maybe even all of them will be able to take over the team, but remember this. This was Jordan Williams' freshman year and Sean mosley's sophmore year.

When it comes to Sean's senior year I think this team will be prime for a big NCAA tournament run. It will be JWill's Junior year and all of the incoming freshman will have a year under their belt. We may have some All-Star caliber recruits coming in as freshman that year too. In my opinion, 2011-2012 will be the year of the Turtle!
