Appreciate the shout out.
I knew we were in for a long game as soon as I saw Karl Hess as a referee.

Who cares?
Terps almost never play well in the North Carolina Invitational. Its no great suprise-Gtech had everything on the line and Terps had nada. Nobody hangs a banner based on winning a first round ACC game.
My, my, my
Less than a week ago GTech fans were, en mass, saying they were giving up on Hewitt and their “beloved” team. I’d imagine they’ll be singing a different tune now. And they wonder why they’re stuck in the middle of the ACC as best.
Jokes, the lot of’em.
they're still upset
it’s gonna take more than a game to win back the Tech fans… we’ll see what happens next week when/if we renew Hewitt’s mega-contract
I spun around... and there I was, face-to-face with a six-year old kid. Well, I just threw my guns down and walked away. Little bastard shot me in the ass.
If they called it off...
Would GV’s immediate answer 3 have counted? Thats the only reason this doesnt bother me is cuz with the 3 we actually cut into the lead by one pt. I mean if they called it off, GV maybe doesnt hit that 3 and we are down more. Not like this was our only chance to get the lead.
I'm unclear, but I believe not
People are arguing over the rules and I’ve heard it both ways, but I don’t believe it’s reviewable. If that’s the case, it’s an absolutely ridiculous rule. They can certainly review it in end-of-game situations and they can review to see if someone’s foot was on the 3 point line and take those points off the board, so you’d assume they could do the same here.

GT up 3. Miller banks a layup off the glass, Favors grabs the rebound and gets the putback dunk. GT up 5. Only the shot clock had already gone off, so the shot shouldn’t have counted. But the officials refused to review it and gave GT the points. MD hit a three on the ensuing possession, meaning Maryland should’ve tied the game, not been down by 2.
