scholly situation?

with 2 walk-ons, Jerome Burney and Jin So Choi gone, 3 seniors leaving and the public not knowing what is going on with Steve Goins,what does the scholarship situation look like ? Just curious bc we have 4 players in the 2010 class however it seems like we can add a considerable amount if they still have players on watch they are interested in bc other teams have and today have monster classes in terms of players ex. ohio st.. Alittle information on the issue would be great!

We have two more open scholarships for 6 total

If we use both, we’ll have three for 2011. If we use one, we’ll have 4, use none, 5.

There are some concerns with the whole 6 player class idea at the moment, because that creates some major spacing issues and limits the possibility of a big class for 2011. I’m not sure they’ll take 6, but at the same time, I’m not sure they’ll be opposed to doing it, either. I wouldn’t be surprised if they take both a wing (Palsson, my boy Langford) and a big (McKnight, my boy Reddic), just one of the aforementioned options, or none at all.

Lots of flexibility right now, and that’s a good thing.
