It's his third on the season. Even more impressive, he is one of only five ACC players to win the award three times in consecutive seasons. The other four? David Thompson, Tim Duncan, J.J. Redick, and Antawn Jamison.  Again, if you're a MD fan, and you hate Greivis Vasquez, you are an idiot.  

Lunardi Gives Terps 7 Seed

With a rematch against California in Round 1 and a potential second round matchup against Kansas St. I like this a lot more than the prospects of playing Kentucky or Syracuse.

Andy Katz thinks Terps should be ranked

"I would have seriously considered putting in Maryland, Virginia Tech, Baylor and Xavier this week. There would have been some tough calls, but I might have tried to find a home for at least two of them, notably the Terps."

I'm over top 25 rankings. The disrespect should help them stay grounded anyway.

Glad the Terps are at least getting some kind of respect. 19-7 overall, 9-3 in the ACC, RPI 36, SOS 32. Looks like an NCAA Tourney team to me.

"(Maryland) capped off what should be an NCAA-bid-ensuring week with a miracle three to beat Georgia Tech (for the second time). The work is not quite done, but should be if the Terps beat Clemson at home. The final three (at Virginia Tech, Duke, at Virginia) aren't cake, but expect the Terps to dance.

Van Pelt Goes Down at MD/GTech Game

In case you missed it, Terp alum and Sportscenter anchor Scott Van Pelt fell into the lap of a woman at the end of the Cliff Tucker game last Saturday. Watch the video of his tumble and all the pub he gave MD on his show this morning.
