Since the conclusion of the 2000 season when Leach went 7-6 at TTU there have been 206 HC openings, 65 "step up" jobs. He got 0. Food for thought on what went wrong in the interviews, the meetings, etc. Maybe Leach commented on all the fat little girlfriends running around the schools with their football player bfs!
