in the last week or so we have seen some of the most chaotic changes in our football program in a long time, and whether you wanted franklin/fridge to stay or leave everybody agrees DOB is the best thing to happen to our football team this year. I turned my back on the developments on Fridge's departure for the afternoon only to see stories like this all over the internet.

i've been worried enough about how many recruits we are losing and whether my favorite defensive coordinator every will be staying with the terps, but just thinking that DOB has uncertainty about returning is unnerving to say the least.
odds are good that he will return rather than lose a year of eligibility transfering to vandy, or worse yet 2 tranfering to vt(and becoming the benedict arnold of maryland football history), but im upset that this is even in question.
as rookie of the year and the new star quarterback for maryland, DOB should be stepping up his leadership of the team in a time like this, not questioning his own alliegance. did the danny who came a year early and worked his butt off in practice to get a shot at playing time go out the door once franklin left? and how far does our current team have to fall to accomplish this positive change in the program?
