Well I guess this should not be a big suprise that Cyrus has narrowed his list of possible suitors down to 5 and MD didnt make the cut.  Though I am suprised a one name on the list.  Here is the excerpt from ESPN.

Cyrus Kouandjio (Hyattsville, Md./DeMatha Catholic), a five-star prospect, is now only considering Alabama, Iowa, Miami-FL, USC and New Mexico.

I mean New Mexico...COME ON MAN.  For real we lose out to a school that has amounted to one 10 win season in program history (dont hold my feet to the fire on this one, but the program is pure CRAP).  There goes another top football prospect to an out of state suitor.

I did read the article from the Baltimore Sun that a couple of analyst have stated with Friedgens future at least for next year no longer in question wil help MD land a couple top tier prospects remaining in the 2011 class.  Obviously one of those guys will not be Mr. Cyrus, which I did not expect him to go to MD he will probably end up at Bama with big bro.

Any updates on any other main targets for the Terps football class of 2011, if so please post any updates on some good prospects.

On a closing note, I know this past Saturday and week was a tough one to swallow, but it would be sweet to end NC State's chances of making it to the Championship especially since Debbie Yow is the AD for the Wolfpack.  I think it would be great to say hey Debbie better luck next year.
