Devon Collier and Tobias Harris
This is an article from Zags Blog. I have never heard of this kid...Devon Collier out of NYC. Hes #79 on ESPN's ESPNU 100 list graded at 93. He's also a 3 star on Rivals, and 4 star on Scouts. General consensus is that hes roughly the 20th best PF in the class. Apparently UMD is recruiting him and hes impressed with our recruiting class so far.
More importantly Tobias Harris's in-home interview schedule is out....and UMD is the last date. Do you guys think thats good or thats bad? Saving best for last or we barely just made his list? Since KU is first...

Could go either way...
Either it’s good because he feels good about us and is giving us the final spot as “best for last”.
…OR it’s really bad as he can committ to any of the other programs that speaks to him before us and can cancel the visit on a whim.
I would say if Gary’s shoes actually do touch Harris’ living room carpet then it is good. We have the final impression on him as well as the opportunity to counter anything negative that another program may have filled his head with about MD during their visits.
I think it's very positive
He definitely won’t commit before we get to him – I get a feeling Torrel Sr. is a bit more level-headed than that – and we get the last shot to get in his ear and our pitch will be the last in his head when he makes the cut. Like you said, we get the final impression and get to see where other schools stand. Big-time boost.
As for Collier…I see him as a Jon Graham or Hippo Tsafack type talent. Slightly more talented, but I don’t really want him to finish out the class unless all other options fall through.
No Good !!!
Its definately not a good move if he has Kansas first and Maryland last. He choose the best 1st, because if he see something he really like then instead of going through all the other teams/headache he can cancel the other meetings and just be happy with what he have without wasting all the other teams and his time. I think it is a longshot that we get him. ..
Definitely not the plan
Torrel Sr. and Tobias have been adamant about taking this step-by-step. Even if he’s enamored with Kansas, there’s no doubt in my mind he’ll take the other in-homes and then take the five official visits. Besides, Kansas has never been rumored as a frontrunner, IIRC.
not Kansas…Kentucky
is kentucky KU or UK?

Confusing
Kansas is…KU…I’m pretty sure. Kentucky is UK…
Yeah, that’s right.
Still, I’d wager that he’s not committing after one in-home. His dad’s an agent; I don’t think they’ll make a rash, Selby-esque decision.
