LOTS of stuff going on today. Like, tons. First, there's ACC media day from 2 to 6, with the Terps on at 5:45. Chris Turner and Nolan Carroll will be the guys doing the interviews for Maryland. Check the link above to get a live stream from theACC.com.
There's also AAU basketball on, kicking off at 5 on ESPNU. First you can watch Will Barton against Trevor Cooney (this game is must-watch basketball, especially if you've never seen Barton play), then catch JD Weatherspoon of All-Ohio Red. Certainly a lot of stuff to watch today, so comment here on any happenings.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AlcOB333VmwvB2RqFliwdtpDubYF?slug=ms-thegameface072409&prov=yhoo&type=lgns – Michael Silver’s column leads with a story about the most underappreciated player in the NFL, D’Qwell Jackson.
Not really interested in AAU basketball. It’s probably the slimiest thing on the face of the earth. Will watch ACC Media Day though. Shouldn’t that be on ESPN-U instead? Doesn’t the U stand for “University”? How do high school kids fall under that category as opposed to a conference’s media day?
Is Clint Hurdle fired yet? YES
Is John Paxson fired yet?
Is Ralph Friedgen fired yet?
Is Vinny Del Negro fired yet?
Is Dan O' Dowd fired yet?
Is Jerry Angelo fired yet?
AAU is slimy, but I can't pass up Will Barton vs. Michael Gilchrist
That matchup should be amazing, AAU or not. Throw in Trevor Cooney, and I will be watching that.
Great article on D’Qwell. The tackle numbers were inflated, but it’s still great.
Holy crap
Absolutely nothing added from Robbie Rogers in that * disaster.

Watched that too
Ugh. What a terrible game.
For a B- team, it was okay, but it sucked losing to Mexico.
Thoughts
On the media day interview: Turner and Carroll didn’t want to say anything that could rock the boat, methinks. Carroll did mention Travis Ivey and Adrian Moten as the leaders of the defense – I found it interesting Wujciak wasn’t mentioned, but he probably just forgot. Both mentioned they liked being the underdog, though.
For AAU: Jon Graham still needs some work. His game really didn’t impress me. Barton is scary thin, but still pretty good. Cooney is basically an improved Eric Hayes.
Nice to put some faces to some of these kids were goin after
Also nice to see thier style uf play too. Team Elite is getting pounded
"In Gary we Trust!"
Game Two starting now
Weatherspoon not starting. Only Terp target in the bunch.
