"T.J." Clemmings is not committed to Pitt
Zags is reporting that TJ Clemmings is not committed to Pitt. According to PC head coach Benjie Wimberly:
"He went out there and made a hasty decision [to commit] without any input from his parents or me," Wimberly said Monday night. "He’s going to rethink it and continue the recruiting process."
Well, that's good news. The Terps better hit him hard because football really need to step up their recruiting at this point...

LOL
Just saw this. One of two things happened: 1) he committed without telling his parents prior to committing and his parents just want to talk it over, or 2) he committed without telling his parents prior to committing, and they really don’t want him to go to Pitt.
We still have a shot, but only if his parents and coach are very big influences on him. He’s already been on campus, so it’s not like he doesn’t know what we have to offer. If he really wanted to go to Maryland, wouldn’t he have picked it over Pitt, seeing how he knows both? (Unless the decision was very rash, of course – if he thought it over at all, he probably decided Pitt > Maryland…not saying it can’t change, just saying). Conversely, if his parents/coach don’t want him to go to Pitt for whatever reason, Maryland is choice 1B right now, so you have to like our chances.
