Spring Scrimmage #2 Report
A few things I noticed while reading the report:
-Torrey Smith looks like a monster.
-Jamarr Robinson sealed up the #2 QB spot.
-Adrian Cannon and Kevin Dorsey both were impressive.
-Cam Chism was a consistent tackler.
-Drew Gloster seems to fit in at LB.
-Da'Rel Scott got hurt, but he'll only be out for a few weeks.
-Nick Wallace > Mike Barbour (at least right now).

How did Da'rel get hurt?
And an injury that could possibly have him out for “a few weeks” dosn’t exactly sound like something Terps fans shouldn’t worry about.

Tackle by Nolan Carroll
His knee and Nolan Carroll’s head collided on a tackle. It was a minor ACL sprain that will have him out 2 to 3 weeks. Sure, he’ll miss the tail end of spring practice, but it’s not major.

Not major?
Out for the rest of spring? Plus Nolan was sent to the hospital! Although, “Expected to make a full recovery” (Baltimore Sun)
But when the go-to guy is sidelined with an injury like that, we should all hold our breath. Da’rel is the difference between us being top 25 or just another mediocre team.
