Maryland goes into the Virginia game needing a win to get to .500 in the ACC, but also to keep their NCAA tournament chances alive. UVA has been bad this year, but they haven't been laughable - they already ruined Virginia Tech's tourney bid, and beat Clemson.

Sylven Landesberg (the guy with the bad tooth-to-gum ratio) has been nothing less than excellent, and finishing the season at Virginia is never easy. Mamadi Diane is one of the seniors on the team, and there's always a chance he could explode on senior night. Worse, many people have been overlooking this game (me included), trying to get a jump on the bubble statuses.
