A source says that Seth Curry, the highest scoring freshman in the country this season at Liberty, will transfer to Duke.
The source says that Curry and his family made the decision Sunday.
Curry is the younger brother of Davidson star Stephen Curry and the son of former Virginia Tech and Charlotte Hornets' star Dell Curry.
Crap. I knew Maryland wouldn't really pursue him, but I wanted to be able to actually like him. Via Charlotte Observer.

SO WHAT!?
I’ve not seen him play or anything, but i do know that he plays for a tiny school that plays nobody’s! If he wants to go play in front of foreign exchange students Who Gives a Shi+!? Not me!
he dropped 18 in a win against UVA
and averaged 20 ppg and Duke was so interested they offered … i think he’s going to be good dude

I’m not surprised he ended up at Dook. I also don’t believe he’ll be the player his brother nor do I believe that his enrollment is going to usher in some kind of Golden Age of Dook basketball and help them get back past the third round of the tournament. He’s the kind of player they’ve been getting: someone who can bury the three. He gives them no real additional athleticism or size and that’s what they lacked against Villanova.
Here is a prediction of Seth Curry's basketball career
Seth Curry will follow a long line of dookies here, and his career will probably end up the same. He will be the next out-of-nowhere player to average 15+ a game and drop threes all over the place for Duke. He will make three sweet 16s with duke, but never see a final four. Then, he will go into the NBA draft, get picked up at the bottom of the second round by a GM who thinks “Hey, maybe he’ll be like his brother.” Then, he will spend three years bouncing between the D-League and the NBA bench, and eventually make an early exit from the NBA.
That sounds pretty accurate right? I think I just summed up the careers of every duke player since 2000.
