Nothing is more rewarding for a true maryland fand than to see gary and the team have shut up all the haters.  We have now made the NCAA tournament in 13 out of 16 years.  The record speaks for itself, and always has when it comes to Gary Williams.  A team who has nobody over 6'6'' in their starting line up, no deadly outside shooter, no lockdown defender, only one senior, but a TON of heart, and TONS of great coaching makes the tournament.  Really a great moment for Gary, the kids and all Maryland fans.  Hopefully this will shut up all the gary haters, and hopefully a few of them will come out and apologize to Gary (bbro, you promised...lol).

We're in the tourny, playing on house money and nobody gives us a chance to do anything.  I like that.  

And next year looks exciting with the possibility of lance or vinson joining the two bigs.

Oh, and the 2010 class looks even brighter.

Gary haters, apologize and get on board or become irrelevant to a program that is moving forward despite your constant negativity, it's your choice.  I can't believe anyone ever questioned Gary Williams, it's really a shame that our fans are so unloyal to such a great, great coach.

Ask yourself something, you think Gary Williams team would have botched 4 straight imbounds plays like Bruce Pearl's team did today? We are so lucky to have gary.  Recruiters come and go, but great coaches leave long lasting programs and are few and far between.  We are blessed to have one.
