Printis without a doubt, the Lady Terps hoops team. Unfortunately for football and men's hoops, this is obviously true, as evidenced by their 2006 National Championship, as well as always seeming to be in the top 10 teams in the nation. They have a National Player of the Year candidate, perhaps even two, and just won their 30th home game in a row.
Too bad that the men's hoops team, coached by a guy that should have been gone a long time ago, is fll of great athletes with little basketball skills. Too bad that's been coach Gary Williams mantra since he's been here, as he is constantly out-recruited by the Tobacco Road teams every year.
Football has floundered and needs some new blood in the coaching ranks. Sadly, by the looks of Coach "Fridge's" expanding waistline, that may be happening sooner rather than later.
Good luck to Darius Hayward-Bey, as he takes the next step in his football career in the April's NFL Draft. While I doubt it, I'd be pretty stoked to see him just down the road here in Baltimore as QB Joe Flacco's deep target for the next ten years or so!
Finally, back to the Lady Terps. How about some news on them on this site from time to time? I'd be glad to join in the conversation. Thanks and good luck.

Tough on Fridge and Gary, especially on recruiting. After Gary got into the Lance Stephenson running and Ralph pulled in his best recruiting class of his tenure, not sure you should be taking shots at them. Not to mention, this is 27 Sports, 1 Team, remember? Maryland is Maryland. We’re all in it together.
Also, I’d give it to Men’s Soccer.
But yes, I’m going to start increasing posts on W BBall. Probably no game recaps, but I’ll mention something post-worthy.

Hiring Kerry McCoy was a MAJOR boot to that program. They’ve been nationally ranked most of the year, and look for them to improve next year.

Best MD team is BBall. Maybe not right now, well maybe yes cause they just beat the best team in the nation and the #3 ranking doesnt mean anything.
I think water polo has a real shot this year to.

I am a daily visitor of my school’s blog. Just happened to notice the Kyle and Matt Bobble heads on the side fan post, so I decided what the Gary hater had to say.

Field Hockey team is always good and 2 time National Champs…and nice legs.
Fridge lived off of Vanderlinden’s recruiting class and when they left the Fridge sucked.
Gary must have grown on him.
Wake, who has to compete with most of the ACC in their backyard, puts a better product on the court than Gary who has Maryland’s and all the surrounding state’s talent with no local competition. He should be cherry picking players from DC, B-more, Philly, NY but he’s a bum with a 10 padded wins every year. Morgan State. That’s all you need to know. He barely scraped by GW, George Mason and American in recent years. George Mason got hosed by refs in MD’s march to the Cahmpionship (easiest bracket). Maryland should be a top 10 force every year in this region of talent. He never brought in a pure shooter in all his years. He plays seniors with better underclassmen sitting and getting yelled at on the bench. Done with the guy. Hi Rexx and Malor. field trip.
