Funny story: A poster at the Terp Center message board posted contact info for the hotel Duke was staying at. And some of the stuff was glorious.

"Hello, this is ****** with the Washington Times, sorry to bother you at this hour Mr. Paulus, but we are running a small piece tomorrow and I was hoping to take 2 minutes and ask you a question?"

Him: "Uhhh, sure"

"If you had to choose between Deron Washington, Danny Green, and Dwayne Collins, who's nuts would you say tasted the best?"

Him: ...click.

Shortly after, Coach K ordered all calls blocked. But there was still some stuff coming in.

"scott here, can i have my call transferred to greg paulus' room"
"uhh sorry i can't do that, orders of the coach"
"but this is his boyfriend"
"im sorry i still cant do that"
"his grandmother died and i need to inform him"
"ill leave a message"
"ok thanks, tell him scott loves him and misses being held in his arms"
"have a nice evening"

After that, it's tough to tell what happened. There are some pictures of Brian Zoubek's girlfriend, which have some sign potential. But then...uh...no one really knows. It's a massive, 1000 post thread that is more convoluted than god knows what, but most of it involves people saying they did something involving fire and a lot of people believing them. Still, it's good entertainment if you have a few hours to burn.

Anyway, on more realistic notes:

• Duke finally realized that freshman SG Elliot Williams can actually play, and he's been getting increased PT the past few games. That's not good - just another player with a pure talent advantage over Maryland.
• Good news: it's now a requirement for Maryland players to hate Duke.
• Jeff Barker has some quotes from Gary and Greivis over at Tracking the Terps. None are particularly interesting, but the one about Eric Hayes throwing the ball to the rafters made me chuckle. I just don't think of that as a "big thing" for anyone.
• For those who care, there's already a line outside Comcast. That's great news. Also, the team will be rocking the gold unis tonight. I still hope Duke brings out the disgrace of a jersey for a surprise debut.
