Maryland Decade in Review: The Video

So many great moments this decade…From Blake stripping Jay Williams and going in for the lay-in at half, Ambush destroying NC State’s McClendon, Tolliver’s 3 at the end of regulation that forced OT against Puke to win the NC, Gary’s reception to clinch the ACC Title against NC State, and of course Juanie hurling the ball to the rafters after winning the NC in ’02…So many great moments and hopefully more to come in the coming decade

ben, thank you. that made my day. i saw almost all of those moments live and reliving them this morning was wonderful. seriously, thank you!

I love these videos and they make me proud to me a Terp. However that being said it is also a little depressing to see how far we have fallen in both football and basketball. I know we can’t really complain about football since we were terrible before Fridge(my freshman year) but in basketball we need to get better. Every year we made the tourney and were ranked in the top 15 or so. There was no such thing as the bubble. I think were on the right track to getting back to that level, i just hope we get there sooner rather than later. Go Terps

I loved re-living those moments, and in some cases, living them for the first time.

It’s easy to forget how good it’s been in the what-have-you-done-for-me-lately world we live in. If you had told anyone in the 90’s that in the 00’s we would have 1 ACC championship/ 2 final 4’s/ 1 NCAA Championship and an ACC football Championship in the post FSU/ UM era they would have fainted on the spot. Go Terps!
