"Some of his (Friedgen) players came to him the other day, relaying the news that some of their teammates had been saying they have nothing left to play for this season."

This is obviously not what you want to hear from your players. Ralph better find a way to get through to his guys because a 1-7 ACC record is not going to help his chances of returning next season. 

Two MD Wrestlers Picked for All-Star Event

Pretty cool story here from the Wrestling program. Steven Bell and Alex Krom, two ACC champs and All-Americans, were each selected to participate in the 44th annual National Wrestling Coaches Association All-Star Clinic. It's the first time in school history that the Terps have sent two wrestlers to the event.

Explaining Eric Franklin's appearance - D1scourse

It was entirely inexcusable, IMO. But this would be worse:

If McDougle burns his redshirt, that's a definite sign that Ralph needs to go. - bbroman
