Burney Recovering...But Slowly

Great. /s (h/t Patrick Stevens)

"It's still very sore," Burney said. "It's like the first time you lifted in a month. You try to do the weights you do normally, and that's what it feels like. I hope it doesn't get anywhere near where it was before, but we'll have to see how long it takes. Right now, there's only so much I can do. After that ..."

It's not a huge deal, especially with the emergence of Dino Gregory, but Burney was starting to get some momentum before the injury. He's a sizable body, something the Terps are lacking at the moment. I obviously want him to take his time - I'd rather wait an extra two games and not have him get this injury again than try to push it and get hurt again.

On the other hand, there's some big must-win games coming up, and not having a body to put on a team's center is a pretty big deterrent. Hopefully he'll be back after the Duke game, but I doubt it.
