Two New FB Commits

According to TerrapinTimes - I know, the names are eerily similar - there are two new football recruits. Some investigative work (not really) reveals that they are Avery Murray and David Mackall.

Mackall is a DE/OLB hybrid, which means he'd be a perfect fit for that bastardized position, the LEO. The Edmonson-Westside student is a three star prospect on Scout, and a two star prospect on Rivals.

Murray is a an OLB from Florence, SC. He's yet to recieve a rating from either service. For what it's worth, neither prospect had been attracting any big time schools' interest. Buffalo and Akron were on Murray, East Carolina after Mackall.

This brings the total prospect count up to 16 for the year. The class is really starting to come together, but really isn't that varied. Five recruits so far project as possible linebackers, not counting last year's commit, Eteyen Edet, who is prepping. And Fridge & Co. better still be going after Jelani Jenkins hard. It's a good thing LBs are at least somewhat versatile. They can bulk up and become DEs, or lose a little weight and become safeties. Some of these guys will almost certainly be forced to go that route.
