Terps Top GW

Amazing...a win in the BB&T Classic. I believe that is the first win for the Terps in the annual event since 2004. Great win for the Terps. This game was quickly put away by the Terps after Hayes nailed 3 consecutive 3 pointers early in the game.  The Terps lead by 20 at halftime and continued that lead into the second half, winning by 23.

We had a Landon Milbourne sighting last night, as the Jr. had a career high 20 points. It was good to see Milbourne finally getting more confident playing at the 4 position, which he's struggled with in the beginning of the season.

Vasquez had another good game, posting his 2nd consecutive double-double, while also adding 5 assists.  He did however turn the ball over 5 times as well. This season, as Vasquez goes, so go the Terps.  He needs to score around 15+ a game for the Terps to win on most nights.

Bowie is amazing. He just keeps getting better and better.  After earning the starting nod against Michigan and struggling some early on in his new starting role, Bowie settled down and went out and put up 17 points.

Dino Gregory continues to impress as well. He finished the night with 9 boards to go along with 5 points in 27 minutes of play.  If we can get that kid of production from him the whole season, then maybe the Sophomore should be starting ahead of Neal for now?

Braxton Dupree - wow have the mighty fallen.  Braxton was gifted a starting role to start the season but poor play, coupled with missing a class, netted the Sophomore 1 minute of play in last night's game.

Maryland's next game is on Friday against against Delaware St. at the Comcast Center.

What were your thoughts on the game? What should Maryland's starting line up be for the rest of the season? Would you keep starting Dave Neal or would you rather see Gregory get the starting nod?

I'd start either, but just split time equally between the two.

I'd start Gregory

He’s been playing hard lately and at least gives the Terps some inside presence. Neal should get plenty of minutes off of the bench too; he’s been better than expected.

everyone looked solid

good overall game. only 11 TO’s. vasquez still makes too many dumb decisions. he had 5 of the 11. gregory is showing some good signs. good pump fakes under the rim. great team defense. im finally not scared of the BB&T anymore.
