Jai Lucas will Transfer

Florida Guard Jai Lucas, son of former Maryland Great John Lucas, has decided to transfer from Florida. It appears that Lucas isn't happy playing off the ball as the 2 guard rather than running the point.  It also appears his playing time has been reduced a little.  He said he's "wide open" in terms of where he might go, but I'm not sure MD will be on his list or not, especially since Maryland is pretty deep at the guard position. But since his Dad did go to UMD, I wouldn't rule out Jai having interest in Maryland.  Here is the AP story on the Baltimore Sun's website.
